Great posts everyone.

Here is a controversial article about how to buy Baja real estate right from the developer, using escrow to protect buyer deposits, as well as how long the developer can take to deliver not only the unit, but also common amenities. Developers hate it.

With this Baja Trump project, it appears as if so many buyers where looking for a trusworthy name to buy from in Mexico, that Trump Baja looked the Baja real estate solution that buyers were looking for. If buyers would have have used escrow services when putting in funds, then everyone would have had their deposits protected.

The article focuses on reputation of the developer, and if they were accept an offer in which escrow is being used, versus just depositing directly with the buyer.
